China offers uninhabited islands for rent, prices start from 535 USD per hectare a year. In the Northeastern Province of China, Liaoning, there are hundreds of fascinating uninhabited islands. Now these islands are for rent and you can stay there as much as your budget permits.
Prices for rent on these islands start from 535 US dollars per one hectare but this is a minimum quote. Rent payment for staying on uninhabited islands can reach up to 3,5 mln per hectare. It depends on several factors, including the purposes a visitor is going to rent it.
633 islands of China in Liaoning can be now rented. 44 islands are inhabited and 589 – uninhabited. Some of the islands are located at the coast of the Yellow sea, the others along Yalu river.
There are a number of restrictions though, for example a renter will not be allowed to perform cultivating on the lands of the uninhabited islands. Only tourism, agricultural activities and creation of the renewable sources of energy are approved. In total 9 types of the categories on how the lands of the islands can be used have been specified. Certain rent price was set for each category.
Entertainment and tourism are the most popular categories. Rent of the island will be permitted only after the application requirements are met. This includes submitting a detailed report on future usage of the island and provided all the ecological norms are observed. The applications will be carefully reviewed and only then will get approval for the rent of the uninhabited island.
Some of Liaoning islands are already rented, and mainly used for tourism activity. Beautiful gardens and parks have been created there making this area even more attractive for visiting.
