Tourist season in Greece is almost over, and currently hotels are facing mass hotel booking cancellations. 

Tourists mostly from Great Britain and the Netherlands are cancelling hotel bookings, which they made in the hotels, because of the quarantine restrictions for everyone returning from Greece. 

Statistics show that most of the tourists, who visited Greece were from Great Britain – 315 800 people. Greece was also popular among the tourists of Germany and Poland, 205 900 and 81 800 accordingly. 

70 500 tourists from Italy and 52 300 people from the Netherlands visited Greece recently. 

The number of tourists visiting Greece was 55% less compared to August last year, but still the season ends with 1.5 billion euros income.
