  1. Great tips! Thank you very for sharing these with us! My family loves to travel, and we go on trips often. It is good to be reminded of some basic things which will help to secure yourself anyway.

  2. When travel alone I always make sure my car is fully prepared, but it is also important to make sure you have enough gas. There may be a situation when you need fuel and there is no gas station nearby. This is why I have an extra 10-20 liters in my car trunk.

  3. Hello, I totally agree with you, we also take some extra gas with us, when traveling by car. We have three kids this is why for us it is very important we travel without being stuck somewhere in the middle of the fields without the possibility to buy gas. It is better to be prepared and take some extra with you rather solve the problem when you already on holidays.

  4. One of the most important things to avoid if you are traveling alone on a road trip is stay active, have enough rest to be able to control the road.

  5. I always try to avoid driving during the night. For me this is a bit too hard to watch the road, and I get tired more when driving the dark period of time. Every time i travel I try to plan my trip in such a way that I arrive to the hotel in the evening, have some rest and leave for the next part of my journey in the morning.

  6. Good question! 🙂 I would advise everyone who is going on a road trip to avoid the following: don’t take a boring travel buddy with you, make sure your trip is within the budget and do not underestimate it, don’t drive a crappy car,
don’t drive when you are tired. These are the main travel tips I always try to follow when planning my road trips, hope they helpful for anyone, who is going on a similar trip.
