All the tourists arriving to Singapore will be requested to wear electronic bracelet. This measure is aimed to better control quarantine. Bracelet will be connected to another rechargeable device. It can be charged at home or hotel, for example.

If a person leaves building this information will be transmitted and the representatives of Migration Services can call or send a message to double check whether the person has left the premises. 

After the quarantine the device can be deactivated or returned. People who do not follow these new requirements will be fined. The amount of fine is up to 10 000 USD.
