Odessa city becomes more convenient for tourists and easy to travel around. 2nd of February was announced as a starting date of launching Uber texi services. Mobile services users now can get Uber taxi in Odessa via Uber application. The company started working several months ago in Kiev – the capital of Ukraine.

The news re launch of Uber services in Odessa was aired by a representative office of the company in Odessa city. Starting February UberX is available in Odessa for calling a taxi. Minimum price for journey is UAH 14, which is about USD 0,30.

UberX taxi tariffs in Odessa are set as following – UAH 5 for car order and UAH 4,5 per 1 km. This kind of services can be paid both – in cash and via bank card. Passengers can check price for the trip before the order is confirmed.

UberX provides reporting for each order and each trip a person makes. The information will be sent to the email you pointed out during registration and will contain data about the location, where the car was delivered, route, travel map, information about the driver and price of the trip.

Along with launching UberX taxi services in Odessa city the company decided to deduct prices set for Kiev city Uber services. The minimum price of the trip will cost UAH 25 instead of UAH 40 and taxi order will be priced at UAH 16 against UAH 25. Price per kilometer by Uber taxi in Kiev remained unchanged, and taxi drivers will charge same as before – UAH 4,5 per 1 kilometer.

For travelers, who plan to get Uber taxi to the International airport of Borispol from the right bank of Kiev will pay the same amount – UAH 270 (a bit more then USD 10) and UAH 190 if going from the left bank.
