Montenegro Tourist information to arrange holidays

Booking a hotel in Montenegro should be done carefully as most of the hotels seem to be a bit overpriced during summer high season. Experienced travelers prefer to stay in the apartments. The price range is wide, starting from 10 EUR per night and it depends on location, services included, etc.

During summer season prices go up of course, especially in popular tourist resorts. Hotel or apartment booking can be done via internet or upon arrival to Montenegro. Sometimes the owners of the apartments wait for the tourists at the bus stations, offering rent.

If you making a reservation of the apartment online you will be asked to make a prepayment of the room and the rest of the amount will be due upon arrival. The amount prepaid is non – refundable.

If you are making a reservation online make sure to bring a copy of booking with you and to contact hotel or owner of the apartment to double check the reservation was confirmed. In most cases they approach the clients within 24 hours.

If you need transfer from the airport to the hotel or apartment rented, feel free to ask the reception to help you organize this kind of service. You can also check with them bus schedule and best route to get to their location.

  1. I think the best time to visit Montenegro is in summer, June – August. If you prefer calm holidays plan a trip to Montenegro in June and in September. July and August are the busiest months, but this is also the period when the sea temperature is the best and you can swim as much as you wish 🙂
