How to rent a car in Croatia? What you should be aware of when traveling by a rented car in Croatia? If you are planning to visit Croatia by car and are going to rent a car in Croatia, you should be aware of several requirements. 

In order to rent a car in Croatia you must be at least 21 years old, and have driving experience of 3 years, a valid credit card, valid passport and your driving license.

If you do not have credit card, you can leave a deposit of 150 – 300 EUR. Car rent services are available in the airports and you can pre-book a car online before you arrive to Croatia to make sure the car you prefer is available. Please not, during high season, in summer it is better to reserve a car beforehand to make sure you can travel by car as planned. 

You can rent from Avis, Budget, Europcar or Hertz either making a preliminary order or upon arrival.

One day of car rent would cost from 50 EUR and if you are signing the agreement you should always pay attention to the list of services included into the price.

By the way, in Croatian coast you can also rent a scooter, with the deposit of about 100 EUR.
